Ted Alejandre's 2016 State of Education Address
San Bernardino County Schools’ Student Services celebrated an historic first with its graduation on June 17. Thirty-two seniors from Student Services’ Alternative Education, Juvenile Court and Independent Study programs participated in the inaugural graduation ceremony at the Sturges Center for the Fine Arts.
Families and friends – as well as plenty of staff from Student Services’ programs – attended the graduation, and the students beamed with the opportunity to receive their diplomas for their work in our County Schools’ programs. Congratulations to Randy Elphic, assistant superintendent of Student Services, and his staff, which organized a great experience for the Class of 2016.
They truly have transformed their lives through education!
